Edinburgh School of Music is an independent music school based in Edinburgh city centre.  We are a team of highly experienced, enthusiastic and professional teachers who provide music lessons in a wide range of instruments.

Our goal at ESM is to bring the love of music into all our student's lives in a fun and enjoyable way as well as providing all the necessary skills to pass exams, perform with confidence and compose music and songs. We are very proud to maintain a 100% pass rate in all our student's instrumental and vocal music exams making us Edinburgh's favourite music school for private music lessons.

One - to - one tuition

Lessons are available for a range of instruments including voice, piano, guitar, violin, viola, cello, saxophone, clarinet, flute, recorder and drums. We offer one to one private lessons in our studio in Meadowbank or online lessons.

Groups

We offer a range of music group activities including our Wee Musicians groups, Keyboard, guitar & ukulele groups. Please contact us to find out the groups that are currently available.

Concerts

At ESM we believe that learning to make incredible music is just not as rewarding if you don’t share it with others. We give our students plenty of opportunity to showcase their progress which develops our pupils into confident performers.​
